Melee Warfare is a great addition to N.O.V.A. combat. The two major weapons of this particular warfare can be read in the article Mobile Armored Suit under the heading "Suit Powers".
The weapons of Melee Warfare include: Force Blast, Paralyze, Time Warp, Meelee Disc, and the EMP blast.
The EMP Blast button, located above the Fire button.
The Powers[]
The Force Blast is a blast of invisible energy that forces the enemy away from the player. It damages and causes the hostile to fall to the ground for a few moments, giving time for the player to fire upon the hostile.
Paralyze is an ability used to encase one enemy in yellow energy, giving Kal time to shoot them.
Time Warp is not a real Melee weapon, but it slows time, giving the player time to think or to snipe enemies.
Melee Disc is a weapon used all over the N.O.V.A. 2: The Hero Rises Again Campaign, while it is only featured in N.O.V.A. 3 Multiplayer, as a button that appears when the player is near another enemy player.
EMP Blast is an ability only featured in the first N.O.V.A.. It is used to disable enemy equipment, shields, and even vehicles, allowing the player to fire upon the weakened hostile.

Trivia[]
- The Paralyze ability does not hurt any enemies in the N.O.V.A. 3 Campaign, but strangely, paralyzed Thugs (Thug) take damage when applied upon.
